About the Project
JMorton has provided planning services for numerous aspects of club management, including a right of way abandonment which added additional land area to the community, due diligence for various parcels as the club worked to address the housing crisis for their seasonal employees and general planning services on an as needed basis.
Our latest project included a new 40,000 square foot Lifestyle Complex with a freeform pool, separate children’s aquatic area and an informal restaurant with outdoor dining. An integral part of the site plan was obtaining approval for a parking space reduction. JMorton coordinated with the reviewing agents, design consultants, and the Client to address and resolve compliance issues. As a result, a variance permitting the reduction of 95 parking spaces was granted. Because of the variance approval, the club was able to incorporate many of the amenities identified during the member interviews and design charrette.
